Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on February 14, 2027, according to an announcement made Monday by the NFL and Apple Music.
The performance will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Jay-Z’s production company, Roc Nation, has produced the halftime show since 2019. The firm recently signed a five-year contract extension to continue in that role through 2029.
Roc Nation’s tenure has shifted the show’s focus toward hip-hop and rap. Last year’s event at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara featured Bad Bunny, with guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
Los Angeles previously hosted the halftime show in 2022. That lineup included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, with cameos from 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. Other recent headliners include Kendrick Lamar and SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024, and Rihanna in 2023.
This will be Jay-Z’s first Super Bowl performance despite his industry connections. The 25-time Grammy winner has spent 2026 touring for the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint.
His Jay-Z 30 Tour began with three nights at Yankee Stadium in July. He then performed two shows in London and one in Paris in September. The tour concluded on October 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium, the same venue where he will now perform for the Super Bowl.
