Suki Waterhouse told the Sunday Times that her wedding to Robert Pattinson will be a major event when it finally takes place. In an interview published on Sunday, the 34 year old actress and singer described the upcoming ceremony as a high profile affair.
Waterhouse stated that the event would be all or nothing. She joked that if they were to proceed, they would organize a huge party. The actress noted that the wedding is currently postponed indefinitely until the end of the year.
The couple has been together since 2018, a period that nearly reaches a decade. Waterhouse reflected on this duration, calling it wonderful. She said the longevity of their relationship makes her happy and surprised that she has this in her life.
Despite rumors suggesting they married after the birth of their daughter in March 2024, Waterhouse clarified that the legal ceremony has not yet occurred. The pair have kept a low profile regarding their private life, though the actress appeared unusually open in this conversation. Pattinson is 40 years old.
The actress, known for her role in Daisy and the Six, expressed confidence in their parenting skills. She noted that both she and the Twilight star are connected with their two year old daughter despite their atypical schedules. She described the child as a wonderful and happy girl.
Speculation about a commitment began in December 2023 when Waterhouse wore a diamond ring on that finger while walking in London. Interest in the couple grew in March during the premiere of The Drama, a film starring Pattinson and Zendaya. During an interview with Extra, both actors were asked about the biggest secret they had kept. Pattinson looked at Zendaya and replied that it was the same as hers, likely referencing her marriage to Tom Holland.
The pair were seen together in September at the Venice Film Festival, where Pattinson promoted his film Primetime. They posed for photos on the red carpet and shared kisses after the audience gave a standing ovation. The couple also attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party and the Dior menswear show following the birth of their daughter.
