Israeli forces killed 14 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip over the last two days, according to the Palestinian health ministry. The most recent victim was Tahani Mohammad Shalalfah, a six-year-old girl shot dead by soldiers on Tuesday.

Local media reported heavy tank fire in the Al-Alam and Al-Shakoush areas west of Rafah. Artillery shelling also targeted sections of northern Gaza. On Monday, Israeli forces bombed a makeshift camp, killing one person. Two security service members died and two others were wounded during a mission in Deir al-Balah.

The Palestinian health ministry stated that the total death toll since October 2023 has reached 74,561. That figure includes 1,565 people killed since a ceasefire took effect in October 2025. The agreement was designed to stop attacks and allow humanitarian aid, but Israel has continued daily strikes and restricted aid flows.

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory issued a new report on Monday. It said Israel continues to commit genocide in Gaza. The commission accused Israeli authorities of war crimes and crimes against humanity. These include extermination, persecution, torture, and rape.

The report noted that Israeli forces use heavy and unguided munitions in densely populated areas. It also cited drones, quadcopters, and sniper fire. The commission stated these tactics result in the systematic destruction of civilian life and objects. It described the so-called Yellow Line, initially a temporary demarcation, as a steadily encroaching de facto border.

The commission warned that the Gaza strategy of total destruction is being imported to the occupied West Bank. It said Israel has waged a widespread and systematic attack against civilians since October 2023 through military assaults and settler violence. The report highlighted age-based persecution, noting that Israeli forces deliberately kill children and inflict serious physical and mental harm.

The commission called for an end to Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory. It demanded the removal of all settlers and settlements. The report urged Israel to reverse the confiscation and appropriation of Palestinian property. It also called for the return of all confiscated land to its Palestinian owners.
