Telemundo named Aleyda Ortiz, Clovis Nienow, and Jessica Carrillo to its coverage team for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. The network announced the additions on Wednesday, positioning the trio to join existing presenters Jacky Bracamontes and Carlos Adyan for the live telecast.

Ortiz, a Puerto Rican presenter and former beauty queen, will serve as a co-host and commentator. The network cited her experience in pageants and her perspective on the competition. Nienow will also act as a co-host and commentator, bringing his hosting style to the main stage. He has an additional role scheduled for the day before the final event. On Sunday, November 22, he will co-host a special edition of the show Pica y Se Extiende. That broadcast is set to air immediately following the Miss Universe Preliminary Competition.

Carrillo, a well-known Telemundo host and co-host of Al Rojo Vivo, will handle reporting from behind the scenes. Her segment will focus on the contestants as they prepare to take the stage. The network described her role as capturing the emotions and nerves of the participants during their final hours before the crowning ceremony.

The 75th edition of the pageant is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24. The live broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, 6 p.m. Central Time, and 4 p.m. Pacific Time. It will stream in the United States on Telemundo and Peacock. Viewers in Latin America can watch via Telemundo Internacional or the Universal+ streaming service. The event will also be promoted on the network’s social media channels under the hashtag #MissUniverso.

The main hosts, Bracamontes and Adyan, will guide the audience through the evening’s proceedings. The night concludes with the current titleholder, Fátima Bosch of Mexico, passing the crown to her successor. The pageant has a history of Latin American winners, with 27 women from the region having claimed the title over the years.

Telemundo stated it will release more details about its special programming and exclusive coverage in the coming days. The network emphasizes that the broadcast will be available coast to coast across the United States. The event is expected to draw a large audience interested in the cultural and competitive aspects of the pageant.
